It's been a while since I've participated in a Five Favorites linkup with Hallie; however, I thought I'd jump on the Wednesday bandwagon, because I've just been ooing and aahing over these five and itching to get my hands dirty.

I really have had little to no desire to get a rocking chair or glider even with our little Sebastian's addition to the family. I like to sit in them, yes. They're soothing, yes. But I find them, for the most part, very aesthetically appalling. I've seen some rocking chairs I didn't mind, but I have never laid eyes on a glider that I could stand. However, that changed when I saw this beauty on Pinterest and I fell in love. Totally and utterly in love. Though we don't have space for another piece of furniture, I think I will try to nab a California Bentwood Rocker when we find ourselves in a house. I began looking for them on several online sites and apparently they're not anymore expensive than many other rockers out there. Is it not just lovely? I love the soft elegance of the curves and the overall minimal feel of the rocker. Lovely. Absolutely lovely.

I have a weak spot for all things nautical, so when I saw this beauty from anthropologie I fell in love. However, since it's priced for approximately what I saw the above Bentwood Rocker going for I decided it was just for oohing over and not for having.
- Third -
Is this a beauty or is this a beauty? Found over on printmakerkym's Etsy store, I loved this crashing waves pillow. I'm afraid it wouldn't go with our floral couch, however, I know that if I were to buy it I would find a home for it.

I've been getting some sort of green thumb itch, but it's primarily for these last two items. Here is another brilliant idea from the domestic goddess, Martha Stewart, and all I can say is: "I want." So once we've unpacked and settled in I'm going on a hunt for the right size pots and for my herbs and I will tackle this herb tower or so help me.

When I'm picking up those herbs for the above project I'm going to also be picking up some succulents for the terrariums I am determined to make. I was even more spurred on to make one when I saw Verily post about making these beauties just recently. I already have one glass container I'm planning on using, but I hope to snag a second somewhere like TJMaxx or Ross or Tuesday Morning. For some reason I love the idea of plants in the bathroom. Is this odd? I hope not because I'd really love to have a terrarium on our bathroom counter.
